Mace Thornton
Partner + COO
Based in Missouri, Mace is a veteran communications strategist specializing in agricultural advocacy, organizational communications and marketing. He serves clients by offering consultative collaboration that results in sharper strategies, enhanced profiles and targeted impact in the marketplace and across media platforms.
His professional posts have included leading the strategic communications efforts of two separate national agricultural organizations: the American Farm Bureau Federation and the United Soybean Board. These roles built his reputation for win/win relationships, clear-eyed counsel, policy and issues expertise, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around impactful stories.
Growing up on a Kansas farm started Mace’s passion for America’s farm and ranch families. He earned a journalism degree from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and began his career in a daily newsroom before moving into national ag advocacy and marketing leadership. Mace’s appreciation and respect for agriculture’s past drove him to author three historical fiction novels.
Today, Mace brings that mix of strategist and storyteller to clients who need research-based narrative insight, practical plans, and communications efforts that move audiences to action. He is an oft heart-broken fan of Kansas State University sports, and the Kansas City Chiefs. When time allows, he enjoys firing up his smoker in the ongoing pursuit of perfect baby-back ribs.
