Stratovation Group Expands Team, Capabilities and Footprint

Columbus, Ohio, November 16, 2022 — Stratovation Group, an innovative business-consulting firm that offers a comprehensive range of strategic research, consulting, communications and marketing services, is expanding its team, capability and footprint, CEO Cam Camfield announced today.

“Growing really was a logical choice,” Camfield said. “The opportunities for the services we offer to benefit our clients and partners, especially those in agriculture, are off the charts. We’ve added capacity and expertise across the board, and our core focus continues to be on the power of fully integrating strategy and innovation.”

In addition to veteran agricultural strategist and communicator Mace Thornton joining the team and establishing an office in St. Louis, Camfield said the firm’s headquarter office in Columbus also is experiencing growth and transformation.

“From the standpoint of efficiently offering a comprehensive set of skills in a one-stop shop, from research to strategy and execution, the team at Stratovation is the most complete I have ever worked with, and that is saying a lot,” Thornton said.

Stratovation has promoted Lea Kimley to the position of partner and director of client services. She grew up on a farm in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. She leads much of the firm’s client engagement activity with a focus on marketing strategy and media.

“Lea is a rockstar. Her ability to collaborate with clients, understand their specific needs and then overdeliver on their expectations makes her a valued partner and team member. Her contributions to our leadership team are invaluable,” Camfield said.

New to the team is Rick Letts, who brings his comprehensive professional knowledge and capability in research execution. Rick was struck with a passion for research after earning a master’s degree in psychological science from Shippensburg University. His background includes experience in the retail services and healthcare sectors.

“Research is the bedrock foundational capability that drives all the rest of our work. A lot of firms talk about research, but very few can tailor research solutions the way we can. Rick is a wizard when it comes to research and he will only grow as a valued asset for our clients and partners,” Camfield said.

The newest addition to the Stratovation Group team is Michaela Kramer. Michaela joins the firm as Account Coordinator. She studied at The Ohio State University and has experience in the livestock and row crop sectors. Most recently, Michaela managed membership and publications for the National Tractor Pullers Association. Michaela is experienced in both agency services and consumer outreach. Her time at the Ohio Beef Council, Beck’s Hybrids, the Ohio Soybean Council, and FLM+, now known as Curious Plot, will add immediate strength to our team.

“Michaela understands the importance of membership,” said Camfield, “all the way from recruitment to engagement. Her experience in that area as well as digital execution and measurement, editorial and event strategy and relationship building adds a deep portfolio of value offerings for our clients.”
